  1. I just brought home a Carver receiver from the museum that I belong to ( The Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Ct.) and I can’t find a model number on it . It does have a serial number and lots O’ warnings but no model number. I just finished repairing a Technics M275x back to running condition by changing a belt and restoring the other one with a little magic cleaning pots etc now it’s time to tackle the Carver. I know that it uses some proprietary parts but besides missing a few knobs I don’t know a thing about it. Are there service manuals available for Carver receivers ? First I need to find out what model it is and then take it apart and troubleshoot it. Thanks I’m advance Jim

  4. Just wrapped up season 2, and Landman is now officially the best TV show I’ve ever seen - better than The Sopranos, Lost, Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad… All of them. Sheridan definitely has a gift for writing compelling characters and giving them intriguing arcs. I also enjoy the unfiltered look at the oil business. The only thing I hate about Landman is the fact that I have to wait 9 months for season 3:-(

  6. Impressive collection; I would throw out how many CDs/Vinyl I have but I lost count many years ago; I'm still ripping all of my stuff but all I know is it's more than I need. I stream from a NAS with 4 x 24TB drives in it so I have a lot of room for all my stuff...

  7. I only have about 5,500 CD's, a box of 45's and about 200 albums from the 50's and 60's that Shake It Records did not want...jazz and blues stuff.

  11. Lisa Hilton, Extended Daydream was released on November 28, 2025. "Lisa Hilton's success story continues with her 31st release, Extended Daydream. Her considerable body of work makes frequent chart appearances and measures streams in millions. She appears in various group formats, but on this occasion, the focus is on her quintet." 14. I do not find this Album on youtube, German allways sounded really dynamic like an expander was used ( or less compression) .
