Just bought my first Brubeck album Saturday, not sure why it took me this long as I really enjoyed this.

Quite a diverse collection of tunes. But I have to add Barry White, this man was a genius, nothing current is even remotely similar to what he did with music; he blended in traditional orchestra accompaniment to the contemporary music of his day.

I just bought that BB King record yesterday "Indianola Mississippi Seeds".  I had not looked at the inner cover until this evening while putting the record away.  Here's what I found:

Impressive version of his 5th, just picked it up at one of my favorite record stores located in Northhampton, Mass.  When I got home and played it at a nice volume, It got the same treatment from wife and kids my 80's NWBHM gets,..."turn that down!"  LOL, awesome...listening to this I hear Metallica's earliest influence,..200 years their senior.

My wife's pick at the vinyl shop, an LP she once owned is now back.
