Well, you humans make a big deal out of sharing this barely palatable beverage known as "beer" with us....why would we give you insanely advanced technology?

    It's Here !!!

Canada Post is too busy "delivering the online world".
  3. Queen of Hearts. Juice Newton. I could sing it in my head but couldn't remember who did it so I googled it. Probably not the song your thinking of tho.
  4. Maybe The Doobie Brothers "China Grove" "China Grove" When the sun comes up on a sleepy little town Down around San Antone And the folks are risin' for another day 'Round about their homes The people of the town are strange And they're proud of where they came Well, you're talkin' 'bout China Grove Oh, China Grove Well, the preacher and the teacher Lord, they're a caution They are the talk of the town When the gossip gets to flyin' And they ain't lyin' When the sun goes fallin' down They say that the father's insane And dear Missus Perkin's a game We're talkin' 'bout the China Grove Oh, China Grove But every day there's a new thing comin' The ways of an oriental view The sheriff and his buddies With their samurai swords You can even hear the music at night And though it's a part of the Lone Star State People don't seem to care They just keep on lookin' to the East Talkin' 'bout the China Grove Oh, China Grove
  5. I agree 100% with AndrewJohn on Don't Know Why I Didn't Come. I borrowed by neighbours B&W804 speakers and with my tube amp, her voice was perfect. Then I had to give them back and with my B&W805s its not as good and it bugs me constantly. For sibilance, I use Paul Simon's "Something So Right".
  6. Will a digital FM station have the same range (miles) as an analog FM station?
  7. One word: Hoard. They are so rare, I buy all the SoundStream I can. I actually have those plus a few T-1 tuners, 4 DA-1 amps, 6 DA-2 amps, 4 RA-100 MKIII amps, three phono section cards, two SN-1 networks, a dozen or so remotes, a C-2 surround processor/preamp with remote, 10 keypads, an IR remote receiver, a couple of speaker switches, a couple of power strips and a super rare Simul-Source remote keypad test unit. The SS C-1 is the closest thing to the Conrad Johnson Premier 17LS-S2 that I have ever heard. I don't want to hijack this thread, so maybe I'll start a new one... Hey Kev, It seems that the only reason they are so rare is because you are hoarding them.
  8. Welcome to the Carver Site forum Gary.
  9. Welcome to the forum. I too find satisfaction in owning equipment that I could only dream about 20+ years ago.
  10. To me, ALL "rap" songs made over the past 25 years sound the same. Are they exempt from plagarism laws.
  11. Hi shortcake. Welcome to the forum. I'll bust out a case of Tranya and we'll all get "loaded".
  12. My ma and pa tried their hand (or feet) at disco in the late seventies. They bought the album and I still have it. Altho I just spent the last 20 minutes looking for it and can't find it, but its around here somewhere.
  13. Bestest double album ever.........
  14. Did you try playing the glue impression? wink. (forgot, no emoticons available with whatever version of IE I'm using)
  15. The Norah Jones album is killer. A good reference recording for evaluating your system.
