compwaco 1,129 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 If I could ever see this artist live I would give my left ______. Figuratively speaking. I saw him in the late 70's. It was a great show.
dennismiller55 4,809 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Excess testosterone promotes male pattern baldness..... Bald at 30. Basket case.
RodH 4,866 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Maybe you shoulda 'donated' a nad. Lost one at the age of 17 in a motorcycle accident - still have a full head of hair at 51, (4 kids in the interim as well). And to get the thread back on topic:
dcl 3,276 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Got started on Jan Garbarek back in the day of reading CD Review magazine. Being not likely that I will attend concerts of the Norwegian saxophonist/composer, his first live album was an immediate grab. Excellent sound & spirited performance of pieces from his catalogue.
maddmaxxx 39 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 -Most just wouldn't understand.... "Hairless heart" from /The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway -The 'concept' album is personal reference listening for myself [the SACD was remastered by jack wagons !] -Funny thing is; the TM said PG's voice sounded like PG was 'on the toilet'... -The album did sound poor on his AL5's as those spkr's were made for techno disco -Point being / Know what kind of music YOUR spkr 'builder' listens to before one plunks down the loot -Sorry but I'm not
fill35U 1,846 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Arrived today: Want a bass test? The "Blow" track with Ludacris and Rocko has steady 25 Hz notes.
