  2. Took 2 months to get this, but picked up Alan Parsons Project "I Robot", the Atmos edition engineered by the man himself... Sounds utterly amazing. "I Robot" has always been my favorite release of theirs. This joins the other 2 I have which are my 3 favorites from the entire catalog.

  11. I love looking at these trends and to have lived through all these era's..... 45 RPM records when I was a kid, 8 track in mom and dad's car, Albums when I became a teenager, Cassette tapes when I started driving, CD's when that technology changed everything in the '80's, MP3's/Napster/Apple iTunes in the early 2000's, and now Streaming is King. All those eras were defined by advancing technology..... That's why the resurgence of vinyl is so fascinating. And the fact that kids are buying vinyl is even more interesting. t's "Record Store Day" weekend here in Charlotte. I think I'll head to my local favorite store today..."Repo Records".

  24. I don't think this really says as much about vinyl as it does about CDs. They're both dwarfed by soft media and I don't think that will ever change.
