I have a long winded question here. Obviously speaker placement is very important in the quality of the sound from your system. I have only realized this within the last couple of years after reading various articles about it. I didn’t know any of this when I started this journey in the 80’s. So there are different methods to setting your speakers up; the bass method, the triangle method, imaging method,.....etc. So my question is, when placing the speakers for “proper imaging”, what are you listening for to determine “proper” placement?

Welcome @tpoppa! You have an impressive collection of gear and boxes and manuals! Since your gear is approaching 30 years old, a refresh on your amps will definitely keep them running longer and will definitely sound better. I have had all my amps refreshed and I could hear the before and after differences. I recommend it for a long term solution.......grin
