Welcome Patstachio! I wish I could have afforded the gear back then but I was a poor college kid. I had to wait until I was 50+ to get my gear. We hope you enjoy the site and we like all things Carver and other brands too........grin -

Welcome @zeblis! Glad you opened the door to OCCD, a virus worse than COVID that’s last for years. And with the enablers (infected) people, it’s hard to be contained and safe. If you still want to hang with us, look around the site and enjoy it........grin
-

Welcome to the site! Congratulations on your new to you gear! Be warned that this site contains a virus called OCCD, no known cure, and affects everyone on the site.........grin
-
Welcome Jeff! I too recommend Greg at Nelion Audio. He has refurbished/upgraded several amps for me. I highly recommend him.......grin
-
No. They are on separate 20amp circuits. I use a Yamaha RX-A830 HT receiver to drive them. My plan was for each speaker to have the same wattage. The M200t is 350w in bridge mode. So I have 4 in partial restore since I am not using them right now. BTW, nice pictures of your gear. You will fit into this group nicely.......grin
-
I was planning to use 5 of them to drive my surround speakers and one M1.5t to drive the front speakers, but decided to use 3 - M1.5t for my speakers and one M200t for the center channel in bridge mode.

Welcome Ed! Well said in the above statement. That is why we are all here.......this is the “support” group.....you support our OCCD, we support yours.......😂
-
Nice post AJ! Enjoy the ride down the new rabbit hole Will......grin
-
Speaking of speakers.....interesting title. Why do they call them speakers? Do they really speak when they change voltage into sound? Why don’t they call them sounders?.........grin Ok, maybe an attempt at a bad joke......grin
-
Thanks Mark for a great write up! It sounds like you had a great time on those evenings doing that. I guess I need to try different speakers than the ones I have been listening to for the last 10 years......grin. We have missed you around here Mark, drop in a little more often.......grin

It’s on the back of the speaker, you have to turn it around.......grin
