    yes, this is possible. It adds to the expense of the C-1 and is labor intensive to do but it can be done. There are a few on the site that have these.

    I think you were doing it right with the manual and the red wine.......grin. I have never tried to set it up. My room is not setup for it and speaker placement WILL not pass the WAF........grin

    I have a spin clean system and I like it. While I haven't listened to vinyl after cleaning (no device yet) I have cleaned some records with it.........grin

    Welcome to the site Chris! You have some nice gear especially since you bought it new! Refurbing your gear was a good idea since you plan to keep it. Send some picture of your gear when you get a chance. We love pics.........grin

    That is one of the reasons I like my Yamaha receiver RX-A830 and my previous Yamaha receivers. I like changing the names to tell me what my source is.....Sony VHS, Sony Beta, Sony 8mm.........grin

    It’s nice to see threads about the music we enjoy. When we spend so much time and money on talking about and obtaining the gear, we do it for the music, the pure pleasure and enjoyment of listening to it. Thanks to everyone who has started a thread about music........grin

    That’s a good one.......grin. Really @Daddyjt? ........grin. Smokin is one of my favs that gets the volume turned up to at least 12:00 on the C-1........grin

    I see it as the final frontier of recording your own music. Technology has done it with tape, CD-DVD, and now vinyl. I think the idea is great but doubtful I would ever buy one. I don't use much vinyl now......grin

    I still have mine. I have about 6 discs prerecorded that I picked up for $30.00 or less each. I have plenty of blanks and a couple of portable md player/recorder I found cheap. I have it tied in to a DAC on the output along with my DAT deck and Yamaha MCX-1000. I like mine, another toy to record too, and digital format to play with.......grin. Thanks for the update!

    My favorite is Hunt for Red October! I have it in every format, VHS, Beta, 8mm, Laserdisc, DVD, BluRay. And of course, the movie poster is on my theater wall......grin
