Wave files are not compressed like MP3 files and should yield excellent results! I copy my CDs into wave or HD FLAC files
Without loss of quality!

2 years ago at Carverfest, Bob told me he highly recommended the C-1 preamp with his tube amps. And for a 2 channel setup the c-1 or c-11 is very hard to beat!
In the future I think the bobfather is considering a new tube preamp but not much news on that yet!

Too far, Carverfest is about as far as I usually go for audio! I am considering the November Capital Audio Fest if anyone wants to meet there we have lots of time to plan!

I remember this album back in 1967, my brother had it and it blew me away! I wish I knew when they made changes to the album! It seems that the sound of the original had a different mix than the one I bought in 1970 a few years later! The 1967 release had a capital label with a colorful band on outer edge of label, the later one had an Apple label!

Thanks Mark!
I enjoyed that. I played my sgt pepper reissue for my mom while riding on the car, she loved it until the crescendo in 'a day in the life' for some reason that drove her nuts!
I have all the beatle albums in the remixed boxed set in 180g; I wonder how it compares to this release!

I use my spin clean on all new vinyl! I have also used tergitol on my spin clean with good results!
Wood glue if real ugly stuff on record also helps!

Lol static is a problem in the photographic darkroom as well! I used to used staticmaster brushes on my negatives! It had a polonium 210 cartridge to zap the charge! I am not saying it's suitable for audio as I think it's probably not safe! I miss old school photography! It's A lot different now!
Zero stat gun works well! I have also used dryer sheets under the mat, not sure if it helps a lot, it can't hurt though!

I am doing my first m-1.0t mkii project and I am using this board from circuits and concepts, it comes with excellent instructions as well!
I will be starting a thread on my project soon!

Welcome! Nice setup, I lived in Tennessee for 20+ years! I am in Baltimore MD now! My math degree is from ETSU and so is my Masters in Software Engineering!
I am rebuilding a pair of SDA 1b's that I saved from going to the dump!
Sounds like your home brother, glad you found us!
I'll second what Kevin said, I think you would enjoy Carverfest in September!
Welcome and thanks for sharing your photos!

Actually the wood glue method works well for very dirty records! I have done it on a few , I inherited my deceased brothers collection when mom sold her house! They sat idle in the basement for 20 years! Some had some funky crud all over them! I also have one of the manual spin clean units, I have also used the tergito from Greg, it does a nice job! The latter is what the Library of Congress recommends for archival cleaning! Next time I use tergitol I will use it in the spin Clean and see how that works!
